- Each series of classes meets a specific need. The Basics of Child Care series provides
the basis for the other classes, and it, or its equivalent, is required for some
of the other classes.
- Participants in each series of classes receive free resource materials.
- All training hours count toward a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
- Participants may have the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
- Many community colleges will award college credits for completion of Basic, Inclusive
Child Care, Infant/Toddler or Administrative Futures classes.
- Many classes, except the Administrative Class, can count toward the state training
requirement for group day care home providers.
- Your regional 4C office can provide transcripts of all classes taken.
