The Building Foundations Scholarship allows a provider to complete an approved Early Childhood Education course at a participating college/university. This class can then be applied toward an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.

Building Foundations Scholarship eligibility:

• Currently working at least 20 hours per week in licensed child care center / group home or regulated family home.
• As a teacher / assistant /aide earn less than $14.25 per hour.
• As a director earn less than $15.00 per hour.
• As a home provider / group home owner earn less than $15.00 per hour after expenses.

Note: If working for a center / group home the center/group home owner must agree to sponsor the scholarship recipient.
