At the Michigan 4C Association, we believe all young children should receive child care from qualified providers and be exposed to early learning while having their health needs met. In working toward this goal, MI4C coordinates professional devlopment services and resources for early childhood professionals. In addition, the Michigan 4C Association manages T.E.A.C.H. (Teacher Education And Compensation Helps) to help child care providers earn their college degrees as well as higher compensation.
You can also contact the Regional 4C offices, who help coordinate the development and delivery of child care services for parents and providers. For child care providers, this is accomplished through recruitment, training, and support for those who work in child care centers, preschools or Head Start programs, and family or group family day care homes.
